To activate a code on Steam, you will need to follow a few simple steps. I put a support ticket in with Rockstar Support, and they not only didn't help me, they outright deleted my ticket after 6 days. I have over two hours clocked in just the launcher alone.\ I have only one Steam account, and only one Social Club account, and one activation key, so there is no confusion as to where the activation key went, except SOMEHOW I still have not actually played the game. Rather than launching the game, the launcher prompted and now continues to prompt me to enter the activation key I've already used.Īll I get is an error saying "Rockstar Activation Key already in use." The game activated, and I linked my Steam and Social Club account together. Contrary to what I've read elsewhere, I had to manually enter the activation key in the game's launcher after the release. ![]()
